Perform the following operation and give answer in scientific notation using the correct number of significant figures.
105.1044

That would be 1.051044 x 10 to the negative 2.

You keep all the digits because they are all significant and you move the decimal place 2 places.

I'm sure. You move it to the left 2 places to get proper significant notation. He wants the number in proper significant notation.

is it 10-2 or 102?
well if it's 10-2, i.e 1.051044 x 10-2, then the answere is equal to 0.01051044
so maybe it's 102
