What you said was "Step 1" was not step 1 as you described it.
The problem I'm seeing in what you described has to do with your molar conversion. There is only one W atom on one side of the equation, and only one on the other side of the equation.
So I, at least, am confused as to why you are multiplying by 3, and then multiplying that by 2(1.01), since that would be the molar mass of HYDROGEN, not TUNGSTEN. Tungsten trioxide to elemental tungsten is a 1:1 ratio.
Is that where you're getting confused?
If it's of any consolation, it looks like you found the answer to part 2 alright.
