organic compounds from biomass -- textbook?
« on: October 10, 2009, 05:31:54 PM »
Hi,

I am currently searching some textbook with a comprehensive list of chemicals produced from biomass. I would be interested on the production process, use, environmental effects of these "green" compounds. Is there any basic textbook related to this topic?

Best regards

Daniel

Thanks for the link! Very useful.
Is there no basic literature in this topic? I mean you hear nowadays much about biomass and renewable energies and stuff like that but it would be really surprising if there were no books on chemicals produced from biomass. I found some book at amazon but I would have been interested in opinions... And could you suggest a "biomass book"? So a book about biomass in broader sense (e.g., combustion also but solely combustion is rather useless for me)?
