We're learning about the quantum numbers right now including electron spin. In the Stern-Gerlach Experiment particles are fired through an inhomogeneous magnetic field and half are deflected up and half are deflected down. This supports the claim that electrons spin in opposite directions. One such type of this experiment would be to fire electrons through such an inhomogeneous magnetic field and they would be deflected depending upon their spin. Wouldn't all the electrons be deflected in the same direction since they all have a negative charge?
