In our textbook (McMurry) the standard reactions of alkenes and alkynes are covered in chapters 7 and 8, and stereochemistry isn't covered until chapter 9. This is annoying, because in class we covered stereochemistry first and now when we work with these reactions we need to know the full stereochemical products. The book problems aren't giving complete answers and I want to make sure I'm doing this right.
Do you know of any sites that have problems covering reactions with stereochemistry? Or of other textbooks that do stereochemistry first? (I could maybe sign them out at the library if no one knows a useful site).
Thank you!
