DL-alanine with copper acetate gives how many isomers?

Hey guys,

The shown reaction in my experiment, and the one done in the lab : copper acetate +glycine = cis-Bis(glycinato)copper(II) and trans-Bis(glycinato)copper(II)

Now my question is, if glycine, is replaced by DL-alanine, an amino acid, how many isomers are formed? Is there a cis/trans?
