Hi, I am working on an OTC chemical database since I think it will be useful for many, especially those just starting out in chemistry and I was wondering if any of you would be interested in helping out in adding any OTC chemicals I missed, or adding info to the chemicals that have been added.  I know there may not be much interest, but i figured I might as well try, right?

So far, this layout seems to be the best IMO:

Acetic Acid
Synonyms:
    * Acetic Acid
    * Ethanoic Acid
Chemical Formula:
    * CH3COOH
Uses:
    * Food Preparation
    * Photographic Developer
Products:
    * White Vinegar by Hienz at ~5% concentration

... and to answer your next question as to why I am doing this? I figure it adds content to my site, might list a few different ones, and I'm doing something different then he is.. I am going for actual brand names, concentrations, and that sort of thing.

technaflora pH down for ponds is 2M nitric acid.

I think also eventually, especially once my site gets more popular more people will be able to add to it and edit the wiki - hyperdeath is pretty static and only changes when I am a fish has time to work on it.

I plan to add more to it later as well, such as links to MSDS, the normal WIKI, etc.
