Enthalpy of compustion for paraffin wax
« on: December 16, 2009, 10:02:11 AM »
I am not sure I'm doing it right.
Calculate the enthalpy of compustion for paraffin wax (C20H42) given that the enthalpies of formation of C20H42, CO2 and H2O are -456, -393 and -285 kJ per mole respectively.
Could you please look at my answer and correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!!!
