«

What property allows aluminum to dissolve in either HCl or NaOH?
I tried finding an answer but so far no luck. Any help is appreciated!

Aluminium reacts with base (NaOH) and acid (HCl), what's the property called which allows a substance to react with both a base and an acid?

I'm assuming it's amphoteric.
Thank you, the way you worded it actually made it somewhat clearer.
