What would happen if all the the dichloromethane was distilled and the beginning of the separation process and then the solid residue of benzoic acid and acetanilide were recrystallised? Why wont this procedure be effective?

I was thinkin that the melting point of the three arent that far apart and there fore the dichloromethane may not distill  from the mixure. But i am wondering if this is right and what else is there?
