Turbidity of Hcl?

I dilute 12M HCL to 5M HCL with distilled water and store it in dark glass bottle but after few days the diluted HCL was turbid, why the turbid was appear after diluting if the problem in the water or its cross contamination was in the bottle?

Should not happen - and the bottle (or cap) would be my first suspects.
