Functional Groups in this molecule?
« on: March 31, 2010, 12:34:31 AM »

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me identify the functional groups in this molecule. I hope that I don't miss any.

Carboxylic acid
Phenyl
Ester
Secondary Amine.

There is a cyclic structure with a N in it. I'm not sure what this is called. Could someone please enlighten me? Thanks

Hint: The fact that N is part of a ring is unimportant.  What is important is the proximal carbonyl.
