Definitely want a heavy walled, plastic coated bottle for storage of these acids. Car battery acid is only 35% sulfuric acid, so storing that as opposed to concentrated H2SO4 isn't as much of a worry. Both nitric and sulfuric acids, when concentrated, are dangerous because they are oxidizing acids, and mixing them with even small amounts of organics can lead to violent explosions - so be very careful with how you use and store them. We had a 55 gallon drum explode when somebody emptied some nitric waste into a waste container that had previously contained cellulose....
