periodic table trend questions

hi

could anybody explain why these questions please

Q1: the metallic properties decrease across the periodic table WHY?
Q2: the electro negativity increase across the periodic table WHY?
Q3: the electron affinity decrease across the periodic table WHY?

Give your wrong definitions, most of the time you aren't that far off from the right answer

Not necessarily. You should browse the web for more info and if you find nothing there,  you should post your question here...google has many links where you can find the answers to your questions

it is very difficult to answer your question, becouse you did not explain to us in wich level answers should be,
some basic explanatios,
1)in general: metallic propertis are conected with electronegativity and electronegativity is oposite to electron affinity , some of those properties are concted with radii of an element (electron structure), so try to find some basic chemistry literature ,little bit of thinking and you will come to some fine conclusions
