naphthalene-phenol azeotrope

hi all,

anybody has experience with this separation?

i am trying to find a solvent to help me in a extractive distillation to avoid loosing naphtalene with the distillate.

Do you have do this via differential solubility? What functional groups does the phenol have? Or the naphthalene?

extractive distillation was the idea which came to me to avoid the azeotrope, but i am open for other solutions...

my naphthalene is non functionalized at all, whereas the phenol is actually a mixture of phenol, cresols, xilenols...mainly with methyl and OH groups
