Why the reaction is convert to diphenyl ? Because of the stability of cacbanion?

Yes it is because of the carbanion's stability. The triphenyl compound has a pimary carbanion(charge is localised on that carbon). The rearranged product has the negative charge delocalised over two benzene rings, hence the stability.
