I have a quick question about some chemicals i have
About a year ago, i ordered the chemical kits for the illustrated guide to home chemistry experiments
I recived two chemicals that confused me a bit. I got one called sodium sulfite. On the label its chemical formula was Na2SO3 this was pretty stright forward but then i came upon another chemical called sodium bisulfite META with the formula NaSO3 the later was confulsing for two reasons. First, there is only one sulfite ion in the formula and second, the SO3 ion has a 2- charge son NaSO3 would carry a negative charge I have searched google and all i can find is info on sodium metabisulfite and sodium bisulfite. Does anyone have any idea what sodium bisulfite META is?
