Direct Carbon Fuel Cell

Dear all,

I am doing some research on Direct Carbon Fuel Cell(DCFC). I know that there are 3 kinds of these fuel cells. But I don't really know the mechanism behind the one which uses YSZ as electrolyte.
Can someone explain?
