Please Help with a couple of problems
« on: July 11, 2010, 10:54:52 PM »
How many moles of 2-propanol are expected from the complete reaction of 47.0 g of propene?

How many grams of 2-propanol are expected from the complete reaction of 134 g of propene?

can anyone help me answer these 2 questions. I'm not sure how to do these problems for chemistry.
Thanks.

Draw out your reaction equation.
1 Work out the number of moles corresponding to 47g of propene.
2 Work out the number of moles  corresponding to 134g of propene, work out the molecular weight of 2-propanol, do the simple arithmetic

There are your answers
