Testing Energy Drinks
« on: July 16, 2010, 06:06:44 AM »
Hello all

Just the other day I got my EEI for grade 12, basically it is to do with foods we need to chemically test foods/drinks of our choice for are like proteins, vitamins etc. I have chosen to test the energy levels in energy drinks, to determine which ones have a higher energy content. From the research I have done I have found that the energy source within a Mother is caffeine, inositol and sugar. The issue I am having is finding a way to test the caffeine and inositol levels. If anybody could supply some links or the name of the method/machine used to test these I would greatly appreciate it.
