« on: August 09, 2010, 10:21:49 AM »
HI

Just a note to say that we have extended chemicalize.org to bring structure based prediction data to each structure, see screenshot. I hope you enjoy the surf!

Cheers/Alex

Too big distances between lines in the triple bond.
Acetoguanamine in the list of organic compounds does not work (does not show a structure diagram).

These comments are just for improving your service.

Thanks for feebacks.
Alex
PS - search is almost ready for the public - expect in the next few weeks. Buggy, ugly unreliable link: http://www.chemicalize.org/search.php

Just to let you all know that we have added chemical search to the chemicalize.org site.

The search let's you draw, upload a structure or name a molecule as input and perform various structure searches (substructure, exact match and similarity) and see the resulting structures with the query highlighted in the result. From each result structure you can go on to see a list of web pages where the structure was included. An elegance is that you can also see other structures on the linked Web pages to understand if the page is chemically relevant before you visit the link. Of course the link is also chemicalized. See below for screenshots.

Other features added include: Auto-complete, structure images for all auto-complete names and roll over large versions of structure images

Hope this is useful/Alex

I've found incorrect structures for a handful of compounds, where should I report them?
I'm still learning - always check my work/answer.

HI, Thanks, we have a report error link from the pop-up structure images (when you are 'chemicalizing' websites) but yes I see there is no error reporting from other pages. For now can you report to the support forum (somewhat confusingly) at chemaxon.com, see this link. I have passed on this failure to the lead dev and we will be adding error reporting links to the site more generally

Cheers/Alex

Ironic situation, but helpful none the less. I'll check the forum later today when I've rested, I'm not all together at the moment.

All the best,
