New Model of the Atom
« on: August 10, 2010, 09:57:44 PM »
I have a new model of the Atom that can explain exactly why there are as many electrons as there are for every 'electron shell'.  I do not see any other model explaining this.  Any thoughts on the next step?

What's your model exactly? If it's sound, you try and publish it, if not - you fix mistakes or start over, but we'll need to know what is your model?

mathematical calculations to describe the energy levels of the atom would greatly assist your new model.  are you a university student?  do you have contacts with professors who can help you with this?

I'm curious. What is your new model?

I do not see any other model explaining this.

I once saw one... they called it Bohr's model, but it was a long time ago

I thought quantum mechanics did a pretty good job at this?  What does your new model add?
