I have Phosphorus Acid (H3PO3) in solid form and I would like to convert it to Hypophosphorous Acid 50% (H3PO2) aqueous form. Is this possible? If so could you please provide me with detailed instructions or direction in where to obtain instructions. If it is not possible, could you please advise if an aqueous solution of the Phosphorus Acid (H3PO3) could equate to the same strength aqueous solution as Hypophosphorous Acid 50% (H3PO2) and how I would prepare this solution. Many thanks.
