Atoms and Molecules - HS Chemistry

Two elements, R and Q, combine to form two binary compounds. In the first compound, 14.0 g of R combine with 3.00 g of Q. In the second compound, 7.00 g of R combines with 4.50 g of Q.

R + Q -> _1.)_ + RQ

              1.) 14.0 g of R + 3.00 g of Q = ___
              2.) 7.00 g of R + 4.50 g of Q = RQ
If the formula of the second compound is RQ, what is the formula of the second compound? Okay I figured it out using parts. How do I delete this post?

I'm not even sure what the question is asking. Are we to assume that RQ is: 7g R and 4.5g Q?

From the second equation, can't you assume the atomic weight of R and Q?
