please indicate to what decimal positon readings should be recorded (nearest 0.1, 0.01, etc) for measurements made with the following devices:
     a) a ruler with a smallest scale marking of 1cm
     b) a device for measure angles with a smallest scale marking of 1 degree
     c) a thermometer withh a smallest scale marking of 0.1 degree fahrenheit
     d) a graduated cylinder with a smallest scale marking of 10mL

i am unable to even begin to answer these questions mainly because i do not understand the wording in the instructions.  So please help me if possible to gain a better understanding.  thank you.

1)nearest whole number
2)nearest whole degree
3)nearest first decimal place
4)nearest mililiter/whole number
