Hi everybody,,

I did a standard addition analysis with gas chromatography without using a internal standard.
But I need to correct the injections somehow...
Normally I would correct the injections using the internal standard method, but does anyone know how to correct your injections without using an internal standard? 
I have been injecting 1 ul and I need to correct it because my calibration curve is terrible
I have been searching all over the Internet and in all of my books but I cannot find anything...or is it just impossible?

Could someone please help ??

Correct it in what way?  Variability between area counts or heights?

With the actual automated system, injection correction is not commonly needed anymore. If you prove that your system is repeatable (6 consecutive injections of the same solution give RSD of less than 2% for assay and less than 10% for impurities or limit test) you do not have to correct for your injection. If you are not able to prove your system repeatability/precision, I think you have a system problem or a sensitivity problem. Good luck.
