i've always thought the max electrons in the outer shell is 8.
But paladium is [Kr] 4d10 which means it has 18 electrons in its outer shell.
So i my belief wrong or is this a weird exception.

any general chemistry textbook should have it.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
