Ca Mg K Cl So4 NO3 PO4 Mixing?
« on: October 13, 2010, 02:45:56 AM »
Is it easy to answer which of these can be mixed together as powders and then added to water.  Which groups after mixed would best be dissolved first second third?

  • Ca(NO3)2·4H2O
  • KNO3
  • K2SO4
  • MgSO4·7(H2O)
  • CaMg(CO3)2 (less than 1% of total)
  • CaSO4·2(H20)
  • CaCl2
  • KH2PO4
  • NaHCO3 (also contains all of or either Ca Mg or K as some alkalinity)

Right now I think All the sulfates can be mixed with all the nitrates, except the CaNO3 which can be mixed with the CaCl2 and CaMgCo3, the PO4 needs to be mixed separate and the NaHCO3 mixed separate

Thank You for the help.

Thanks, that put me in the right place.

One quick question though..   If something is slightly soluble, (CaSO4), is it better to mix it first or last in Deionized water?
