How does cross polarization enhnches the NOE during NMR (esp. in 13C NMR)?

Hello everybody
goodmorning,
Do anyone can explain that how cross polarization enhances the nulear overhauser effect in NMR, especiaaly in C-13 NMR? I found in the book that this enhancement is due to the cross polarization but I could not get the explanation. If anybody has liltle idea about this then please share with me.
