Staining Techniques in analytical chemistry

Can anybody recommend me a book or a web publication on Staining techniques for qualitative analytical chemistry. Not microbiological. I want to use it for qualitative analysis of microscopic objects. Something like color stains for copper, fibers or polymers, wood, bone and so on. Thanks
