do hydorgen bonds only occur between covalent molecules?

secondly, hydogen bonds only occur between Oxygen, Flourine and nitorgen BUT the pauling number of nitorgen is the same as chlorine (therefore their electronegativies are almost identical) so why don't hydrogen bonds occur between Hydorgen and chlorine as well

Chlorine's larger size makes the bond weaker than that formed between nitrogen and hydrogen... Weak enough for it not to be called 'hydrogen bond' ;)

THinking about it, it makes sense that hydrogen bonds only occur between covalent molecules as no other types of molecules contian hydrogen & N/O2/F2
