HCl addition to alkene

I'm reading here that with HCl + 3-methylcyclopentene, you can produce 1-chloro-1-methylcylcopentane (among other things), but I can't figure out how that happens. Help?

Think about getting the carbocation on the tertiary carbon.

Think about  the stability of the carbocation.
