Freezing point depression
« on: January 05, 2011, 12:24:36 PM »
Generally when I think of colligative properties, I think of salts or small molecules. Is there any reason that these kinds of properties (freezing point depression, vapor pressure, boling point elevation, etc.) would behave differently for larger nanoparticles (1-3 nm radius) and would there be a dependence on the surfactant?

Molarity of such solution would be too close to zero, and therefore the effect will be negligible.
