What land use does the presence of these chemicals indicate?
« on: January 19, 2011, 09:23:03 AM »
If the following chemicals are present in the soil of an area of land, what would you suggest the previous use of the area was? Toluene, Benzene, n-Decane, n-Dodecane, Ethylbenzene and Acetophenone?

Any suggestions?

Many of those materials are solvents or starting materials for endless other chemicals.
