DIY spray on chrome System

I am starting a small spray on chrome system I will share with you as soon as its done.... ;D Using hardware store chemicals (except silver nitrate)

sorry to post again, I just couldn't fine the Edit option... :-[

I am still working at my small kit, and sinse I am broke I had to build my own chemestry...:p

Thanks, you can't see it but the spoons are made of plastic, the type that nothing sticks to them... 8) except after I am done with them.... ;)

EDit: seems you Can't edit after somebody has post after you..?

Edit: here how the plastic spoons starts(white blase coat or black base coat, both work)

add some color to the protecting varnish and you end up with this..

Looks nice. There is some company that makes such spray paint in a can and they claim that it is not like the others. Good quality and shiny as if it has been electroplated.

I use automotive grade 2k Urethane glossy black or white basecoat.

automotive 2k Urethane its the best there is and that´s going to be your basecoat..

just a few update
 pics..













I´ll post pics of this bike in a few months to see how it has held up to the road..
