A solution that is 11% iron chloride by mass has a density of 1.149g/mL. What mass of iron chloride, in grams, is present in 2.50 L of this solution.
I thought I knew how to do this problem, but I am confused.
D=M/V so 1.149g/ml = 11 g/V - Volume would then equal 9.573, so 1.149g/ml=11g/9.573ml
If I set that up correctly, how do I figure out how man grams is present in 2.50 L of this solution?
D=M/V - Volume would be 2500 ML right?
