Ionic Liquid Research
« on: February 07, 2011, 08:43:24 PM »
I am only in my second year of general chemistry and am doing a research project on ionic liquids. With my current knowledge of chemistry I need information on ionic liquids (specifically the one made by the combination of choline chloride and urea). Information on how this substance behaves in varying temperatures and its solubility characteristics would be most helpful. Remember however that I have a limited knowledge of chemistry and will need the terminology to be that which a second year general chemistry student would understand.

came across it under green chemistry; as a substitute for organic solvent.
can use this info to 'fine-tune' you research.
all the best
