when adding 0.1M Na2SO4 solution to solid CuC4H4O6 only approx 10 ml of solution is needed, why didnt you have to accurately pipet 10ml? did it matter whether or not any solid was left after the NA2SO4 solution was added?

What is the total procedurre. For what purpose to mix the two chemicals.
