Under what conditions, ie: vacuum, temp. ect. would you have to put methane under in order to get it to floress??? (like neon)

I think the HOMO-LUMO gap of methane would be to large for florescence.

1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.

If you could get methane to flores, any idea what color it would be???
