Calculate the heat transferred to the system and the entropy change of the system when 2.0 mol of a gas expands reversibly and isothermally from 1.0 to 3.0 dm3.

A value for temperature (T) isn't mentioned in the question so can i just leave it out in the equation q = nRTln(Vf/Vi)?


q = heat transferred
n = number of moles
R = Gas constant
V = volume

thanks! i should have realised that because every question on the past exams have some kind of twist in them. it's just that in my textbook it said if it's isothermal then temperature would remain the same!
