Hi everyone

Our lab is going for ISO 17025 certification . As part of the requirement ,we are supposed to validate  some Analytical Methods used in our lab .

For validation , can I use SPSS software ?

Is there any other software which I can use for validation .

I am, a manager of two ISO 17025 labs. We do not use any software for method validation.

Right now I plan to follow the ICH or USP method for Validation . How did you calculate the Uncertainty measurement in the procedure .

I am not good at calculating stastics .So was looking for a software to do it for me .

I am not familiar with ICH or USP requirements as I work in different area (Air Quality). For my program, the Unsertainty is calculated for 95% confidence interval as 2 times of Coefficient of Variation (or Standard Deviation if you prefer an absolute value).  You may also require to report a bias which is the difference between recovery and true value of the matrix spike.
