Background info Debutanizer Operations
« on: May 16, 2011, 09:06:07 AM »
Dear All,

I am working on a research about Debutanizer operations in a hydrocracker unit in an Oil Refinery. The research is intended to explain to readers without process background the basic operations of the debutanizer.

I just wanted to check if you anyone could please help me with any researches done to explain the operation process of a standard debutanizer or any websites that could help me in my research.

Thanks for the help.
Moe

Hello Moe,

Some general information is available at the following website (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_gas_processing). A first year university textbook may be a good place to find fundamental information.

I hope this helps,

Eugene
