Find the molecular mass of alcohol...

Q:- 1.12 mL of a gas is produced at STP by the action of 4.12 mg of alcohol, ROH with methyl magnesium iodide. Find the molecular mass of alcohol.

ROH + CH3MgI  :rarrow: CH4 (g) + RO-Mg+I

I have no idea how to do it..can somone assist me with doing it...any clue???

I'll give some guidelines.

You can figure out the moles of methane produced.

There are stoichiometric relationships between moles of methane produced and moles of reactants used.
