« on: June 29, 2011, 06:44:01 AM »
Hi all thatś my first post.

I´ve to deal with this conversion for my thesis.
Someone knows an "easy" way to perform it?

I´ve think to heat the sulfate in a N2. could be right?

What about with double exchange reaction with forming  very insoluble compounds eg.: BaSO4 or PbSO4

Sounds good!

Could I use nitric acid for the recristallization of AgNO3?

I think pure water is sufficient (eventually with a few drops of HNO3).
Note AgOH is a strong base! hence AgNO3 does not hydrolyze.
