Dude, is this bad? (Gold reactivity)
« on: July 31, 2011, 10:10:07 PM »
I am trying to figure this equation out. Story is I want to put a gold coin in an oil lamp as part of this paganistic thing. But, I don't want to die. So, here is the formula:

C(n)H2(n)+2  + Au

Will I die? I have been trying to figure out. But, I am a French major. So, this is blowing my mind.

Relax, metallic gold most certainly won't react with any oil.

Well, you will die. Eventually. Putting gold in oil isn't going to speed up the process any, though.
