Hi,
My question is about the reaction in the picture.
I don't know sure what the answer is. I thought that maybe water would split off, but I'm not sure.
I hope you could help me please.

Decarboxylation is very favorable entropically, which means ΔS is positive. Since ΔG = ΔH - TΔS, once the temperature is high enough to overcome the ΔH term (barrier to decarboxylation), the molecule loses CO
2
