Balancing the equation
« on: August 19, 2011, 05:04:56 AM »
The question says I should balance this equation in acidic state, but the oxygen numbers are equal and i can't put H2O to any side.
The equation:
2S2O32- + I2  :rarrow: S4O62- + 2I-

It is correctly balanced for both acidic and basic solutions. Don't do anything.
