1. What do you call Carbon with four hydroperoxide groups attached to it?

2. What do you call Glycoaldehyde (2-hydroxyacetaldehyde) if you replace the single bond between the Carbon atoms with a double bond (hence losing two of the Hydrogens)?

For number 2, look up how ketenes are named.

For number 1, I'd call it something to slowly back away from.

The second compound would tautomerize to glyoxal.

The first one's called tetrahydroperoxymethane, but, well, Honclbrif can back away slowly if he wants, I'd just get the hell out of there.
