Isolation, Seperation and Identification of Synthetic Food Dyes
« on: September 18, 2011, 03:17:30 PM »
Couple questions regarding the above topic. Your help is greatly appreciated

1)What specific type of chromatography does the absorption/desorption of the dye to wool demonstrate? There are various cartridges available for this technique.

2) The dye is absorbed by the wool under acidic conditions but release in basic condition. Clearly explain this behavior and the chemistry that is occurring

Thanks for the help
