it's well known that the isocyanates can react with compounds containing active hydrogen, I want to know whether the isocyanates react with guanidine hydrochloride derivatives?
I would imagine that the isocyanate would probably react with HCl to liberate carbon dioxide and the ammonium salt, if the reaction were not kept dry. However, if it were, then perhaps it's possible - do you have access to something like Scifinder or similar?
